SRX16839768: Hyb-Seq data of Aralia sect. Aralia (Araliaceae) and related groups
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 4000) run: 5M spots, 1.5G bases, 545.9Mb downloads

Design: Total genomic DNAs were sheared to a target peak size of ca. 500 bp. All libraries was constructed using a NEBNext UltraDNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina . Solution-based hybridization and enrichment was carried out through the MYBaits target enrichment system. 88% of off-target libraries were added to the target-enriched libraries, and passed to sequencing.

Study: Phylogenomics and DNA Barcoding of the ginseng family (Araliaceae)
show Abstracthide Abstract
This project contains the sequence data produced via genome skimming and HybSeq for various taxa within the commercially important ginseng family Araliaceae. Here, genome skimming techniques combined with targeted enrichment were employed to obtain whole chloroplast genomes, hundreds of nuclear genes, and rDNA repeats. The nuclear and organelle genomic data are utilized as super-barcodes to aid in phylogenetic resolution and identification of taxa where traditional DNA barcodes are not adequate. This NCBI BioProject contains records that were generated with support from the federally-funded Smithsonian Institution Barcode Network.
